Summary

Since the launching of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGS) in September, 2000 in Nigeria, huge fmancial resources have been channelled towards meeting the 2015 deadline for the attainment of millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Achieving the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in Nigeria has a considerable gap that needs to be bridged. To bridge this gap, a combination of targeted development aids is required in order to launch Nigerian State into the path of sustainable development. Therefore, the paper aims at examining the millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and how they can be achieved. Furthermore, it evaluates how this will help the Nigerian State in achieving sustainable Development.
